Project: Mahahual Residence, Mexico

Sited on a remote sand bar on the Yucatan Peninsula, this private residence is self-contained, gathering water, generating power and protecting itself and its’ inhabitants from the elements all alone. The beauty of the site and the rugged independence of the architecture give this project a special individualism and presence.
